Child Dental Benefits Schedule
The Child Dental Benefit Schedule is continuing, providing eligible children with access to a benefit of $1000 for eligible dental services over a 2 calendar year period.

This provides individuals benefits for a range of services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontics or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital.

The Child Dental Benefit Schedule continues to be means tested, which requires of Family Tax Benefit Part A or a relevant Australian Government payment.

The Child Dental Benefit Schedule is available at Suite Tooth Dental, in accordance with eligibility and terms and conditions.

Regular dental check-ups can prevent the need for major dental work in the future and is far more cost effective than allowing problems to go on undetected.
It is almost never too early to get into the healthy habit of six-monthly dental visits. Children as young as two years of age are advised to visit the dentist for a regular check-up and clean so that they become familiarised with their local Dental Clinic to help maximise their chances of achieving lifelong dental health.
